How to Find Your Signature Scent

0

A signature scent is the fragrance people remember you by — the trail that lingers after you leave a room. Finding yours is part instinct and part exploration, and it becomes far easier once you understand how fragrances are organised.

Start with the four families

Every Uno perfume belongs to one of four fragrance families. Knowing which you are drawn to narrows the search instantly:

  • Oud — smoky, woody, intense and luxurious.
  • Sandalwood — creamy, smooth and effortless for every day.
  • Musk & Rose — soft florals and clean warmth; romantic and fresh.
  • Amber & Spice — golden, glowing and gently spiced.

Test on skin, not paper

A fragrance can smell completely different on a paper strip than it does on you. Your skin’s natural chemistry shapes how the notes develop, so always try a scent on your wrist and live with it for a few hours before deciding. How it settles after an hour matters more than the first impression.

Match it to your life

Think about when you will wear it. Lighter, fresher scents suit daytime and the office; deeper, richer ones come into their own in the evening. Many people keep two signatures — one for day, one for night — and that is perfectly natural.

Sample before you commit

The easiest way to explore is with our 2 ml samples. Try a few across different families, wear each for a full day, and notice which one you keep reaching for. When a fragrance feels like you, you will simply know — and that is your signature.
